Come to the Rainy Lake Visitor Center at Voyageurs National Park, located east of International Falls, for a Family Movie Day this Sunday (March 27) from 2-4 p.m.
Refreshments and popcorn provided.
The park will show “Eight Below”–a two-hour family friendly movie about loyalty and adventure.
A brutal storm forces Antarctic explorers to evacuate early for winter, without their team of sled dogs.
Will any of the eight dogs survive until the spring when they return?
This movie is loosely based on real events, and is recommended for ages eight and up.
This program is sponsored by Voyageurs National Park Association, and no fee or registration is required.
Visitors are encouraged to come early to browse through the museum, check out the winter displays in the interactive area, and go snowshoeing or skiing.
