Pancake breakfast held at ETL

Scores of people joined the co-ordinators at the Emo Toy Library and Resource Centre/Ontario Early Years Centre for a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday.
At just $2 a plate, it was a great value.
In other news, the ETL would like the public to tell it what workshops and presentations should be arranged there. Are you having problems finding an effective way of disciplining you child? Would you like some ideas for healthy and easy-to-make lunches or baby foods?
Contact the ETL (482-2946) if you have an idea for a workshop.
Meanwhile, the ETL will be raffling a Playstation with three games (“A Bug’s Life,” “Gran Turismo,” and “Star Wars—Phantom Menace”) in order to raise money to purchase resources for use there.
Tickets cost $2 each or three for $5, with the draw slated to be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 19—just in time for Christmas! Be warned, only a limited number of tickets will be available.
Everyone also is invited to an information session featuring Wendy Peterson, a registered midwife, and Donna Tremblay, a certified lactation consultant, at the ETL tomorrow (Nov. 6) at 11 a.m.
They will be on hand to talk about the services they offer as well as answer any questions. Refreshments will be provided.
Would you like a night out to be creative and spend time with other women. Then join Lori-Ann Shortreed at the ETL tonight (Nov. 5) at 7 p.m. to make a winter craft.
The cost is $10.
