Several charges have been laid stemming from a wave of property crime over the past year.
Between July, 2013 and May, 2014, several break-and-enters were committed within the Rainy River and Kenora districts, including in Emo, Rainy River First Nation, Chapple Township, and Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls Township.
As a result of this lengthy investigation, two adults have been arrested and face a number of criminal offences.
They remain in custody pending a bail hearing here June 9.
Zachary Charles Leonard, 27, of Rainy River First Nations has been charged with a total of 34 criminal offences, including possession of property obtained by crime and break and enter.
He also faces charges of mischief, false pretenses, theft of mail, and disguise with intent (mask).
Lori Tom, 32, of Kenora, has charged with a total of 17 criminal offences, including possession of property obtained by crime, forgery, using a forged document, break and enter, theft of mail, and failing to comply with a court order.
