The Rainy River District OPP has received funding from the Ministry of Children and Youth Services to hire two students for the Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI).
Pay for the position will be $11/hour, based on a 40-hour week for a total of eight weeks per youth.
Occasional weekend shifts required.
The positions are open to those aged 14-17, and who must be returning to school in September.
Those who have has participated in the program in the past cannot re-apply.
Completed résumés must be received in person at the Fort Frances OPP detachment no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 12.
Interviews will take place during the week of June 22-26.
There will be an expected start date of Thursday, July 2 and concluding on Friday, Aug. 21.
