OPP recruiting seminar set

With current tough economic times, many people are disheartened to hear the news of job loss and unemployment levels rising.
The OPP is please to report it is hiring and recruiting new members.
The local detachment is hosting a constable/cadet recruitment information session this Wednesday (Feb. 18) at 7 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
Community Services Officer Cst. Anne McCoy will deliver a seminar outlining the OPP recruitment process.
Her presentation will include information about what prerequisites are required for a career with the OPP, as well as outline basic constable training, benefits and pay, and career opportunities.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and no advance registration is required.
