OPP probing sudden death

Last Tuesday, members of Treaty #3 Police Service responded to a report of a deceased male found in a wooded area on Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation.
The male has been identified as Norman Copenace, 47, of Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation.
A post-mortem examination was conducted at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora the following day and the cause of death remains under investigation.
The Treaty #3 Police Service, assisted by the OPP’s North West Region Forensic Identification Unit, OPP Regional Support Team, and the Kenora OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Det. Insp. Martin Graham of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch, continue to investigate this incident.
