With the holiday season underway, the OPP have been very busy with the annual R.I.D.E. program across Rainy River District.
During the first week of the program (Nov. 27-Dec. 4), officers checked 2,365 vehicles in total.
One person was charged with an impaired driving offence while there have been 14 other charges, including those under the Liquor Licence Act and Highway Traffic Act.
There also have been three personal injury collisions and 16 causing property damage.
