Nestor Falls Marine doubles in size

Nestor Falls Marine has grown–to more than double its size.
The business, which sells and services boats and motors, as well as accessories like life jackets, depth finders, water tubes, and paddle boats, has gone from 40’x40’ to 40’x100’.
“Business has been growing,” co-owner Tammi Foster said Tuesday. “Now we can stock more products.”
Tammi and Don Foster bought the business eight years ago, and this year’s expansion marks their first major renovation since then.
“We’ve had minor ones but nothing compared to this one,” said Don Foster. “We spent close to $200,000.”
Business has gotten better for Nestor Falls Marine in the last few years and Foster said he knows exactly why.
“The biggest reason for our reputation now is service,” he remarked. “We’re open seven days a week. People’s motor breaks down while they’re on vacation and we’ve got them going on the same day.
“People remember us.”
Tammi Foster said they’ve never really had a grand opening so a barbecue planned there this Saturday and Sunday will celebrate both its initial opening under the Fosters’ ownership and the expansion.
Customers can buy a hotdog, chips, and a pop for a dollar, with proceeds going to the Nestor Falls Ambulance to help pay for a much-needed respiratory machine.
