Mother’s Day tea coming up

Guthrie United Church in Devlin will host its annual Mother’s Day tea and bake sale on Saturday, May 9 from 2-4 p.m.
There also will be a penny table and cookie walk.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for kids 12 and under (babies are free).
Everyone is welcome to come and have fun while supporting our local church.

St. Patrick’s Catholic Women’s League in Emo will host its annual tea and bazaar this Saturday (May 2) from 1-3 p.m.
There also will be baking, perogies, bedding plants, and coupons from Lowey’s.
The cost is $3, which includes a light meal.

The Clover Valley Farmers’ Market in Fort Frances will open its doors for the season this Saturday (May 2).
Bulk maple syrup will be available but remember to bring your own container.

Kerry Hyatt and her daughter, Kinley, were honoured with a baby shower this past weekend.
Kerry is the daughter of Shawn and Tracey Hyatt and currently lives in western Canada.
She is home for a visit for a few weeks.
