The fire scene is getting quieter across the Northwest Region.
No new fires were confirmed yesterday while nine active blazes were called “out.”
This drops the number of active fires in the region to 15.
All of these fires are listed as “being monitored.”
The forest fire hazard is predominantly “low,” with a few pockets of “moderate” hazard scattered throughout the region.
Meanwhile, hunters are reminded to be aware of FireRangers and vehicles as they respond to forest fires.
