Meeting on mounds gets pushed back

A meeting between Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre staff, Indian Affairs, Heritage Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources has been postponed.
Previously scheduled for tomorrow (Aug. 31), the meeting now will take place Sept. 27 in order that all the parties can attend.
The historical centre plans to request emergency funds to assist in operating costs there, and hopes to share the $1.5-million deficit Manitou Rapids currently is carrying for running it over the past several years.
