From the OPP
The OPP was asked Tuesday to assist the Lac Seul Police Service in connection with the death of 56-year-old Lac Seul First Nation resident Donald Wesley.
Under the direction of the coroner, a post-mortem examination was conducted at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
The cause of death is not being released at this time.
The North West Region OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit from Kenora are assisting and supporting the Lac Seul Police Service in the investigation of this death.
It is being conducted under the direction of Det. Insp. Randy Heida of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch.
