From the OPP
The Rainy River District OPP, in conjunction with Canadian National Railway Police, are investigating a pedestrian fatality involving a train.
At 3:42 a.m. on Sunday, the Rainy River District OPP responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a train in the Town of Rainy River.
The investigation confirmed 38-year-old John George King, of Lake of the Woods Township, was deceased at the scene.
