Man facing trafficking charges

As a result of an investigation by officers of the Fort Frances Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), one male remains in custody facing several drug charges.
On Oct. 11, James Paul Morriseau, 28, of Couchiching First Nation, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking when officers located him at a postal box retrieving a package containing 230 tablets of Hydromorphone.
The street value for this quantity of prescription drug is $19,900.
The accused is awaiting his next court appearance, which is scheduled for Oct. 19 in Fort Frances.
