A Fort Frances man has been charged with numerous sexual offences against children.
On May 19, police executed a search warrant at a Fort Frances residence.
As a result of the investigation, police seized computers, electronic data storage devices, video recording devices, and discs containing images of child sexual abuse.
In addition, the male was found to have communicated with youth under the age of 18 years for the purposes of obtaining sexual services.
Christopher Ernest Simmons, 41, faces two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual exploitation, and two counts of juvenile prostitution.
Simmons first appeared in court here Wednesday and was remanded into custody.
His next court appearance was yesterday.
OPP officers will continue to canvass residences within the area of Sixth Street West in Fort Frances.
