Man charged with stealing Game Boy from kid

Fort Frances OPP officers investigated a robbery shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Investigation revealed an adult on the 300 block of First Street East had approached a 10-year-old boy. The suspect threatened the victim and then stole his Nintendo Game Boy.
Police arrested the suspect shortly after the incident at a residence in the 800 block of McKenzie Avenue.
A 20-year-old Fort Frances male has been charged with robbery and two counts of possession of stolen property. He has been held in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
In other news, Emo OPP officers are investigating an accident that took place Sunday around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 613 when the driver of a southbound vehicle lost control due to icy road conditions and left the roadway.
The driver and four passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
