A Thunder Bay man is facing several charges after a robbery at a Sioux Lookout hotel during the early-morning hours of Wednesday.
Sioux Lookout OPP said the male front desk clerk was approached by a masked male around 4:30 a.m. and a demand for money was made.
The man forced the clerk to the till area and was given a quantity of cash.
Police said the clerk was able to force the male out of the hotel after other property was taken, but suffered injuries as a result.
The suspect then fled the property, leaving behind the cash. Police eventually located the suspect.
