Man charged for weapon in Kenora

From the OPP

A Kenora resident has been charged following a report of a man with a weapon in the downtown area.
Around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, police were notified of a male walking in the downtown area with what appeared to be a weapon.
Kenora OPP officers attended the scene and located the suspect shortly after.
When the male did not comply when police approached to arrest him, a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) was deployed and he was arrested without incident.
As a result, a 26-year-old has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing yesterday.
