At approximately 7:30 p.m. yesterday, members of the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a single vehicle (car) motor vehicle collision on McIntosh Road in Smellie Township, north of Vermillion Bay.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old Vermillion Bay man has been charged with: Operation while impaired –alcohol and drugs contrary to Section 320.14(1)(b); and Operation while impaired–blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to Section 320.14 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court on Aug. 26, 2019 to answer to this charge.
