Lou Kabel is running for a position as councillor-at-large in the Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls
She is the manager of Red Indian Lodge and has been married to her wonderful husband, Ron, for 33 years. The couple has four daughters, Wanda, Wendy, Sheri, and Roni.
Kabel served as councillor for the former Township of Sioux Narrows for more than five years. As well, she has served as a volunteer on both the Sioux Narrows recreation committee and the Sioux Narrows public library board.
She has lived and raised a family in the community for 34 years, and has a vested interested in the fiscal integrity and sustainability of Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls.
Kabel believes in, and wishes to see, the continuance of the mission statement established by the current council of the Township of Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls: to provide the most effective, efficient public services to our residents; foster a vibrant, healthy, prosperous community; and broaden awareness of our municipality to the travel and business sectors.
During Kabel’s former service on municipal council, she exercised fiscal responsibility and acted in the best interest of the community.
Should she enjoy the good fortune of being elected to serve as councillor for Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls, she shall do the same, as well as strive to ensure a healthy and viable future for generations to come.
