A Fort Frances teen is facing two charges after being arrested while walking to his school bus stop yesterday morning.
Following the arrest, police determined the 15-year-old male had more than 20 marijuana cigarettes and one gram of cannabis marijuana on his possession.
He was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance and failure to comply with probation.
The youth was remanded into custody and transported to the Portage youth detention centre in Kenora.
A show cause hearing is slated for tomorrow here.
The Fort Frances OPP’s Drug Enforcement Section completed the investigation.
The police also warned they take all drug offences very seriously.
