Raffle Tickets for the WRRD Lions Pontoon Boat Raffle are now available. This year’s raffle features a Princecraft LT 21’ Pontoon Boat with a 90 HP, 4 stroke Mercury Motor and a Karavan Trailer from Nestor Falls Marine. Retail value $46,900.00. As well, a second place prize of $1,500.00 CASH and third Place prize of $500.00 CASH will be awarded. The draw will take place at the RR Walleye Tournament on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 6:00 pm.
In addition this year will feature and EARLY BIRD Draw for $1,000.00 to be held in Rainy River during RailRoad Daze, July 17, 2021 at 7:00p.m.
Under Ontario Lottery Licence # M841809 only 5000 total tickets will be sold. Tickets in last year’s Raffle were sold out in August. Don’t be disappointed this year. Get your tickets early.
Delivery of the Princecraft Vectra LT 21 is expected in early April 2021 says Don Foster of Nestor Falls Marine Ltd. Upon delivery the Pontoon Boat will be displayed at various locations across the District.
Lion Telford Advent has been busy putting out tickets across the District. Some locations with tickets are Stratton Service and Country Cafe, Stratton; Emo area at Norlunds, Tompkins, & Stacey’s Hair Salon & Devlin’s in Devlin; Westside Baits in Crozier; Ski’s Convenience Store & Fort Frances Times in Fort; Nestor Falls Marine; and Morson Shopping Centre, Morson.
Lion Jack Elliott, 807-852-3790, has distributed tickets to all the merchants in Rainy River. Tickets are also available from all WRRD Lions members.
WRRD Lions President Richard Trenchard is looking after online Ticket sales. Tickets may be purchased online by texting 807-276-7580 and e-transferring the ticket price ($20.00 each) or emailing your purchase request to WRRDLionsTickets@gmail.com.
