The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary to Branch #29 held their monthly meeting upstairs at the Fort Frances Legion on May 11, 2022, with 25 members in attendance.
First Vice-President Emily Watson presided. The April 13 Minutes, Committee reports and correspondence were read, approved and dealt with.
Four members were elected to attend the Convention in Thunder Bay on June 17,18,19, 2022.
We will assist Branch 29 with their “Burgers and Beer” night on May 27, 2022. Donations will be made to Project Petunia and Chem-free Grad. We will be awarding burseries to four graduating Fort Frances High School students.
The Colour Guard is looking for new members. Please contact Randi Roth for information or if you are interested in joining.
The next monthly supper will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at a cost of $20.00 prepaid.
The menu will be a generous portion of “Fall off the Bone” baby back ribs with all the trimmings. Orders will be available for pick-up or delivery within Fort Frances by calling Cindy at 271-2021 or Joanne at 274-5932. Deadline to order is Wed. May 25.
Birthday wishes were given to Sandra Gosselin, Joanne Gosselin and Tina Roth Social time and bingo was played following the meeting.
Our next General Meeting will be held on June 8th starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Pot Luck Supper. Please bring a friend to meet us.
