The 2007-08 season is fast approaching for “Kids & Co.,” the Fort Frances family performing artists series.
Since 1994, “Kids & Co.” has provided live children’s entertainment to the district. We work together with Kenora, Dryden, and Sioux Lookout to plan a children’s concert series for Northwestern Ontario.
We are pleased to present our 2007-08 lineup:
•Monday, Oct. 22—The Blues Berries (www.thebluesberries.com) provide a wonderful introduction to the blues with a high-energy performance which will have everyone dancing at their seats.
Kids will love this show!
•Monday, Nov. 26—Dufflebag Theatre (www.dufflebag.com) presents “A Christmas Carol,” the classic holiday story which takes a twist when audience members are asked to come up on stage for an unpredictable performance.
•Monday, Feb. 25—Trent Arterberry (www.trentshow.com) presents “The Bigg Show,” which uses comical story-telling, mime, music, and puppetry.
•Monday, April 21—“Majinx,” the Canadian Champions of Magic (www.majinx.com), is a family team that uses a wonderful blend of wizardry, music, and comedy to put on this outlandish magic show.
This show is awesome!
These shows are great fun for kids of all ages. Adults also will enjoy the high-energy entertainment of these Canadian-based performers.
