Three people have been charged following an ongoing joint investigation into drug trafficking in Kenora.
Shortly after 4 a.m. this morning, police executed a search warrant on a residence in the north end of Kenora.
Two men and a woman were arrested at the scene.
A search of the residence located just under 10 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of hydromorphone, Canadian currency, ammunition, and other items associated to the drug-trafficking trade.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be just over $3,000.
A 28-year-old Kenora man faces two charges of possession and one count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
He also was charged with possession of firearm ammunition.
A 34-year-old Kenora man also is facing two charges of possession, as well as possession of ammunition.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old Kenora woman is facing two charges of possession.
She has been released and is to appear in court May 4.
