Ken Fisher is seeking re-election as councillor in Emo.
He is a farmer, as well as school bus owner and operator, and lives with his wife, Evie. They have two daughters, Patty (husband, Randy, and daughter, Paige) and Charlene.
Fisher is a life-time resident of the township and has 24 years of experience serving the community on council. He believes the experience he’s gained will be an asset to the newly-elected council.
He would like to continue being a part of the team to complete projects that have been in the works over the past few years, as well as to develop a long-term plan for the progressive community.
Some of these projects include a walkway alongside Cloverleaf grocery store leading to the north side of the Emo Inn onto Emo Road (in order to provide safe access for residents), the purchase of a new Zamboni using reserve funds that have been established for this project, and completion of the proposed subdivision.
Fisher is confident he will serve the community well and thanks everyone for their support.
