Jim Belluz is seeking re-election as a councillor in La Vallee.
He is a retired lineman from Ontario Hydro and is married with three children. He also is the third generation to farm the land he is on now.
Those who know Belluz know he does not back away from asking questions and speaking out on issues he feels strongly about for the benefit of the community.
At present, he is the representative for the arena, alternate for emergency management, livestock valuer, fence reviewer, and volunteer firefighter.
Belluz is committed to keeping the community informed and to act on those issues as the majority of people direct him.
In addition, he is committed to keeping the community a strong and viable place to live by continuing the support for facilities like the hall, outdoor rink, ball diamond, and fire hall.
He also supports those individuals who are committed to their improvements.
Belluz has no personal agenda or axe to grind. His decisions always will benefit the community as a whole.
He wishes only to give back to the municipality that is an excellent place to live.
