The annual Golden Age Country Jamboree and Square Dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 from 6 p.m.-midnight at the Northwest Bay Community Centre.
The band “17A” (Elmer Whitefish and Wayne Teeple) will provide an evening of 1950s and ’60s music.
Admission is $2 and a canteen will be available (absolutely no alcohol or drugs allowed).

Congratulations to Neila Booth on her award presented at the annual business awards gala Thursday night at the Copper River Inn in Fort Frances.
Neila won the well-deserved “Customer Service (Individual)” award.
Anyone who goes into Northwoods Gallery & Gifts knows if Neila is working as you are sure to be greeted with a smile and as much assistance as you need.
Way to go, Neila, on your second time winning this award.

I’m also happy to report that Lori Woodgate is back to work at Crossroads School in Devlin.
She has endured a lengthy bout of cancer and treatment but she is back with a smile on her face. And all are happy to see her!
