Ingrid Krampetz is vying for the position of reeve in Emo.
She lives with her husband, Gary Gellert, and works as a family physician at the local clinic.
Krampetz feels her 10 years of experience as a family physician (seven of those in Emo) and 10 years as a medical scientist would be beneficial if she were elected as reeve.
She also has served on physician committees and was a laboratory supervisor.
In addition, Krampetz was named the hog-calling champion at the 1991 Indiana State Fair.
Krampetz would like to be involved in public office in Emo to ensure clean and sustainable water and waste disposal services, to improve customer (taxpayer) relations and communications at the municipal office, and to encourage community pride and involvement.
She also wants to help to maintain a safe and healthy community.
