Ice-fishing clinic planned

This Sunday (March 6), join Protection Ranger Chuck Remus for an afternoon of learning to ice fish.
Families first will meet at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center, located east of International Falls, at 2 p.m. for an introduction to ice fishing.
After the lesson, the families can drive to a designated spot near the Rainy Lake ice road and try to catch some of Rainy’s finest fish (catch and release).
Some fishing gear will be provided or you can bring your own.
Those interested are reminded to dress for the outdoors.
Visitors also are encouraged to come early and browse through the museum, bookstore, check out the new winter displays in the interactive area, or enjoy a cup of cocoa by the fire.
