‘Holly Daze’ parade a big hit

The “Holly Daze Parade” in Emo on the weekend was well attended by people from across the district.

Thanks to the Emo Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Emo, and several individuals, the parade was a great hit.

What a way to start the Christmas season!

Remember to drop into the stores and shops in town to pick up something for that special someone in your life.

Anyone willing to help with preparations or delivery is welcome.

Congratulations to Emo’s 2019 Senior of the Year, Ross Brookes!

We are so grateful for his dedication to keeping our cemetery beautiful. Our community is even greater with volunteers like Ross!

“Stuff-a-Cruiser” was a huge success on the weekend.

Cars were at various locations across the district and people respondent with great generosity, filling them all several times over.

The OPP and all participants would like to thank the people of the district for helping fill the food banks of the area at this time of year.

Community Birthday Calendars are still available for pick-up at Meyers’ Clothing.

Make sure you stop by the store to pick up your calendar and check for some Christmas presents for that special someone.
