The Emo Chamber of Commerce will hold a “Most Beautiful Christmas Baby” contest in conjunction with “Holly Daze” on Dec. 1-2.
The contest is open to babies, from newborn to 18 months, who live in the Devlin, Emo, and Barwick area.
The submitted picture must have a Christmas theme and be no larger than 5”x7” unframed. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 21 and only the first 12 entries will qualify.
Entry forms can be picked up at Tompkins Hardware or Meyers Clothing, and can be dropped off at Meyers Clothing or mailed to Gaydonna Baker, Box 189, Emo, Ont., P0W 1E0.
The pictures will be on display at Meyers Clothing, with voting for your favourite baby running from Nov. 23-Dec. 2.
Voting is done by placing a donation into the corresponding can of the cutest baby. First-, second-, and third-place prizes will be awarded to the babies who raise the most money from the votes.
All of the proceeds will go to the CT Scan fundraiser organized by the Riverside Foundation for Health Care.
