Volunteers are still needed to get this year’s Terry Fox Run going.
Six to eight people are needed to help with running the water sites along the run, setting up the hall, providing technical assistance, and handling the barbecue after the run, and clean up said run organizer Debbie Bayzylewski.
They would be needed from around 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the day of the run which is Sunday, Sept. 14 .
A meeting for people interested in helping out, and to finalize run plans, will being held Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau (in the old CN station).
“We also have 10 or 12 lawn signs,” said Bayzylewski, “so if anyone is interested in putting on up in their yard in support of it, just give us a call at 274-9555.”
