Happy New Year one and all!

Here’s hoping everyone survived the Christmas festivities and were able to spend time with friends and family, get all the gifts you wished for, and didn’t eat too much.
I realize to accomplish all of the above mentioned does not happen often!
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish one and all a happy 2004. Also thanks to all my readers, and hopefully I can bring you all a smile or two in the coming year.

Sympathy to the McTavish families due to the unexpected death of your family member, Derek.
Tragedy struck the family Sunday, Dec. 21 when Derek was hit by a vehicle on his way to work in the early hours of the morning.
Derek is the son of Stella, who grew up in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Robin’s 2¢:
“It’s going to get worse”
Three sisters, aged 92, 94, and 96, live in a house together. One night, the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses.
She yells to her other two sisters, “Was I getting in or out of the bath?”
The 94-year-old yells back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see.” She starts up the stairs and pauses, “Was I going up the stairs or down?”
The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea and listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful,” knocking on wood for good measure.
She then yells, “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who’s at the door!”
