Groups make donations to spray park

Donations to the Emo Spray Park continue to roll in. Meyers Clothing, for instance, donated $611 from their recent “Cutest Baby Contest,” which was held in conjunction with “Holly Daze.”
Thanks to Cheryl and staff for running such successful contest!
Meanwhile, the organizing committee of the annual Emo Walleye Classic donated $750 to the development of the spray park.
Thanks goes out to the entire committee for its generous support.

In related news, the spray park committee would like to remind everyone that 2007 is quickly coming to an end. Anyone wishing to receive a tax receipt, for either a direct donation or for the purchase of a memorial brick (a portion of the price of the brick will be eligible for a receipt), should contact the Emo municipal office as soon as possible.
Emo residents should keep an eye out for a new brick order form which will be in the mail this week.
