Stuff a cruiser is in need of volunteers, December 5 at locations through the district. Volunteers collect groceries from residents, and pack them into cruisers for people in need. Great for high school hours! Call Charlene at 275-8841 or 486-3455 to volunteer.

Ring a bell and help change a life by volunteering as a Bellringer with The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign. The fundraiser kicks-off on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 and will run through to Wednesday, December 23. Kettle locations will vary between Walmart, Safeway, and The Place. Impact the lives of local girls, by volunteering for Girl Guides of Canada. The Fort Frances Chapter meets Monday nights, with groups in Emo and Rainy River as well. Training, events and scholarships available. Visit girlguides.ca/web/GGC/Volunteers.

The Rainy River Women’s Institute Emo Museum is searching for volunteers for a variety of activities and events. Individuals interested in joining the board are also welcome. For more information, call Annie Van Rozen, at 482-3991.

Knitters are always welcome to create baby booties, hats and mitts for baby kits at the LaVerendrye General Hospital. Wool is available, and items can be created in the comfort of your home.
