Giving Back

The Fort Frances Family Centre is in need of cereal and men’s shoes of all sizes. Please bring any donations to the Centre, located in the old CN Station, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

A work session for the Stratton Sales Barn will be held Friday at 10 a.m. If you can help, just show up and you’ll be assigned a job.

The LaVerendrye Hospital Auxiliary is looking for volunteers for its lobby gift shop to work a few hours a month. If interested call Jan Beazley at 276-1360. They are also looking for people to work on other projects such as Strawberry Social, Rocking for a Reason, fall tea and Spirit of Christmas. Are you a reader? Do you like books? Friends of the Fort Frances Library Technology Centre is looking for new members. Our mandate is to help the library be the best it can be. We support the library’s programming financially and by helping out at library events. For more information call Arlene at 274-5477.

Culturama is coming back! The Fort Frances Museum and Cultural Centre is organizing a revival of Culturama – a community multicultural festival. Organizers are seeking committee members and volunteers, or even just feedback on what you’d like to see!
