Geoff Pearce is vying for the position of reeve in the Township of Emo.
He is a farm equipment mechanic and lives with his wife, Dr. Kim Meyers, in the community. The couple also have three children, Katie, Spencer, and Danielle.
Pearce is not new to municipal politics as he sat as councillor for Emo for three years between 2002-05. He feels this experience will help him be an effective reeve for the upcoming term.
He is running for the position because he’s interested in doing the job of the municipality’s reeve.
Pearce feels, if elected, at the end of the four years the residents and businesses of Emo will be happy with how their tax dollars were spent.
