The Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service will hold a community barbecue next Thursday (May 7) in conjunction with Emergency Preparedness Week (May 3-9).
Running from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the fire hall, free hotdogs and refreshments will be served up.
There also will be information booths, displays, and giveaways both from the fire department and Red Cross.
Everyone is invited to attend.
The event will replace the spring fire safety day the fire department frequently has held at Canadian Tire.
