Four charged in break-in

Members of the Rainy River District OPP recently responded to a break-and-enter to a King’s Highway residence, resulting in the theft of firearms.
An investigation involving the Northwest Region Crime Management team, Emergency Response Team, and Forensic Identification Services was conducted.
As a result of the investigation, four people have been charged.
A 33-year-old La Vallee man faces one count of produce marijuana, as well as two counts each of possession of property obtained by crime, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
A 30-year-old Fort Frances man faces three counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of break& enter and steal a firearm, one count of break & enter to commit an indictable offence, and one count of failing to comply with a recognizance.
He also was charged with one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
A 26-year-old Fort Frances man was charged with one count of break & enter and steal a firearm, along with one count of break & enter to commit an indictable offence.
And a 37-year-old Fort Frances woman was charged with one count of break & enter and steal a firearm, along with one count of break & enter to commit an indictable offence.
She also was charged with one count of failing to comply with undertaking.
