The Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s “Under the Big Top” fundraiser next month is sold out.
Foundation director Samantha Manty said yesterday that tickets for the annual dinner, which will take place Oct. 3 at the Copper River Inn, were snatched up quickly.
“We still have maybe a seat or two where people are tentative, but I feel I’ve got enough people on my waiting list that someone will take them,” she noted.
“We’ve been squeezing tables in here and there, we were able to get a couple more tables to open up at the Copper River Inn, but it’s a full house,” added Manty.
“It’s exciting.”
More than 200 people are expected to attend the event, which will include circus-themed food, entertainment, live and silent auctions, a penny table, and more.
“The event is sold out and we are really looking forward to it,” Manty enthused.
“And it seems the community is extremely supportive this year,” she added.
“I think it’s going to be really fun.”
Meanwhile, Manty wanted to clarify that the “Admit One” tickets (the likes of which one might get upon entering a circus or carnival), which were included as a fun prop in sponsorship packages, should not be confused with actual dinner tickets.
These “Admit One” tickets won’t get you into the dinner.
“I’ve had a couple of people call and ask if they were tickets to the event,” she noted.
Manty doesn’t want people to come to the door Oct. 3 believing they would be admitted with the “Admit One” tickets and have to turn them away.
