Foul play suspected in suspicious death

The Thunder Bay OPP currently is investigating a suspicious death in which foul play is suspected.
Police received information yesterday that a body was located on the shoulder of Highway 527 just north of the Highway 11/17 junction.
An investigation has been commenced by the OPP’s North West Region Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services, under the direction of Det. Insp. Darryl Sigouin of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto.
