Back on Jan. 17, volunteer firefighters from La Vallee and Emo responded to a blaze on Wasaw Road in which a chimney fire at a residence spread to the attic.
Fortunately, it was extinguished quickly using a transitional attack using dry chemicals.
Fire Chief Josh Collins was grateful for all the volunteers that responded and the efficient way the fire was put out.
Hats off to all our volunteer firefighters!

“Whatcha doin’ today?” a wife asked.
“Nothin’,” the husband replied.
“You did that yesterday,” the wife said.
“I wasn’t finished!” he retorted.
