No new fires were confirmed in the Northwest Region from Oct. 27-29.
Three active fires—located in the districts of Dryden, Kenora, and Thunder Bay—still are “being observed” in the region.
A prescribed burn in the Sioux Lookout/Dryden districts also is being monitored by fire management headquarters staff.
The forest fire hazard is “low” across the region.
