No new fires were reported in the Northwest Region by yesterday afternoon.
One new blaze was confirmed late Friday evening.
Thunder Bay Fire #24 is listed as “out” at 0.1 hectares in size.
The forest fire hazard is “low” to “moderate” across the region.
Active fires in the region include two in Sioux Lookout District, one in Red Lake District, and two in Nipigon District.
All five are listed as “being observed.”
