Eight district participants took part in the Manitoba Provincial Festival this past weekend in Winnipeg.
Anna Schwartz, who just wrapped up her first year attending Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) in Winnipeg, finished first in the senior piano and J.S. Bach categories.
Meanwhile, Brianna Eldridge placed second in the Intermediate Mozart division, while Bryce Kabatay garnered second-place honours in the Intermediate Woodwind division for flute.
Other participants who competed included Katelyn Bruyere, Joelle Bruyere, Alexis Latter, Adrianna McCoy and Jill Savage.
