Members of Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday on Highway 17, near Minnitaki road.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle, identified as Kathleen Beatty, 47, of Barrie and three passengers, Phillip Rimmer, 52, Keith Beatty-Rimmer, 15, and Sarah Beatty-Rimmer were transported to Dryden Regional Health Centre where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the west bound vehicle, Rambang Lual, 22, of Mississauga was also taken to Dryden Regional Health Centre for non-life threatening injuries.
On passenger, Paul Oweti 18, also of Mississauga, was air lifted to Kenora and later transferred to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg where he remains in critical condition.
The deceased, believed to be a hitchhiker in the westbound vehicle, was identified as Raymond Wall, 16, of Vermilion Bay.
Emergency personal from Dryden City Fire Dept., Oxdrift Volunteer Fire Dept. and Machin Emergency Response Team assisted in the first aid and extrication of the victims.
