Former resident Elizabeth Adam (nee Klug), who writes and speaks out of a passion to share the power of true love, has two books for sale this Christmas: “Mother Love: Portraits of its Power” and “Great Expectation: An Inspirational Pregnancy.”
Adam’s desire is to touch hearts, minds, and souls through the words she’s been given, whether written or spoken.
Her books can be purchased on her website (www.elizabethadam.com), which has been updated and includes television interviews from “100 Huntley Street” and “Full Circle” on the “Speaking” page.
Visitors to the site also are invited to share their hearts on the “Coffee Corner” page.
Adam’s books also are available around the district.
Between now and Christmas, books purchased at Emo Drugs will include a bonus gift.

The St. Patrick’s C.W.L. tea, which was held Saturday in the church hall, was extremely well-attended by people from across the district.
Those on hand enjoyed the coffee, tea, sandwiches, and dainties while visiting with friends and relatives.
Many people also purchased tickets for the penny table and took home some of the baked items on sale.
Organizers would like to thank everyone who attended, donated items, and made purchases.
