ETL wrapping up activities

Story Hour, Playgroup, and the Kids’ Craft Club soon will be wrapping up activities for another year at the Emo Toy Lending and Resource Centre.
The Story Hour windup party is slated for Tuesday, June 19 from 10 a.m. until noon at Lions Park. Parents are welcome join in the fun.
The Kid’s Craft Club windup party is set for Thursday, June 21 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Lions Park while the Playgroup windup is slated Friday, June 22 from 10 a.m. until noon at Gerber’s Farm.
Don’t forget to bring along your summer shorts, cool shades, and sunscreen!
“A special thanks to all parents and caregivers for a wonderful year,” said ETL co-ordinator Josette Vargas. “The program could not have been done without you.”
Story Hour and Playgroup will be back in September.
“Parents are currently registering their children for the 2001-02 Playgroup and Story Hour programs,” noted Vargas, adding if you’re interested in participating with your children in either of these programs, call the ETL (482-2946) to register.
Space is filling up fast, she said.
Story Hour takes place Tuesdays from 10-11 a.m. for children aged three-four years old. Playground runs Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon and is for children up to age five.
The ETL will be concentrating on Father’s Day during activities on June 12, June 14, and June 15.
A reminder Mom-n-Tots is held Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m., while the next Mom’s Night Out is slated Wednesday, June 27.
