ETL to host workshop

Josette Vargas, co-ordinator of the Emo Toy Lending Resource Centre, was busy preparing for a leprechaun’s visit for the Kids’ Craft Club tomorrow (March 8) in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day.
No Story Hour programs or Kids’ Craft Club will be scheduled at the ETL during March Break (March 12-16). But the centre will have crafts and activities available to the children during all week so be sure to drop in and see what kind of fun is on hand.
Then on Saturday, March 17, bring along your family for a pancake breakfast from 10-11:30 a.m. Don’t forget to wear green!
For Scrap-a-Bit Time, the ETL advises children to bring one-three pictures for an all-about-me page. Pictures could be of your child with some of their favourite things, or doing something they like to do.
Kids will learn the basics of scrapbooking, how to mat their pictures, and write a journal about themselves on March 15 from 4-6 p.m. Cost $2 per child.
Phone the ETL to register (482-2946).
Meanwhile, a “Nobody’s Perfect” workshop will be held at the ETL on Wednesday, March 21 from 6:30-8:30. Phone to register (482-2946).
And the next Mom’s Night Out is slated for Wednesday, March 14 with Lori-Ann Shortreed. Just come to have a relaxing evening with other moms doing a craft, said Vargas.
A reminder short-term child care is available at the ETL every Saturday. Phone for more info.
